PhD Candidate (Project Management), MBA (Finance), B.Com (Accounting), CPA(R), CPA (K), IATA (Dip);

Boniface is a Certified Public Accountant (licenced by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda and the Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Kenya) and a seasoned business advisor with over twenty years post-qualification experience, ten of which he has worked with international consulting firms. He has also worked for a leading African airline for eight years, five of which he was stationed in Rwanda as Country Finance Manager. Boniface is a specialist in Audit, Accounting, tax advisory (he is an accredited tax agent by Rwanda Revenue Authority), Financial Management, Human Resource Management, and transaction advisory, internal control and processes, project management, budgeting and budgetary controls and planning, Company secretarial. Having worked in Rwanda for over sixteen years, he has excellent knowledge of the Rwanda business environment and has been involved in turnaround projects in Rwanda. He successfully turned around one of the companies, implemented planning and budgeting systems and evaluated the overall operations. He grew revenues of the company by USD 600,000 during his six-month term.

Boniface is a certified effective skills trainer by Deloitte South Africa, a certified trainer on Corporate Governance by International Finance Corporation (IFC) and has served as a Commissioner of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda, a part-time Lecturer at the Business Schools of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Rwanda), the Kenya Institute of Management and the University of Kigali where he lectured on Tax matters, Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Accounting, audit and company law. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Project Management.

Boniface is a Philanthropist. He is the current Chairman of the Diaspora Association of Kenyans Living in Rwanda, serves on several Board of Directors in Rwanda and Kenya, including serving as the Chairman of two Boards of Management of Public Secondary schools in Kenya, appointed by the Kenya Minister of Education.
